November 25-27 Major Youth Football Tournament Returns to Placer Valley

Thanksgiving weekend in Roseville promises to be action-packed when the 9th Annual California Bowl arrives Nov. 25-27 at Oakmont, Roseville and Woodcreek High Schools. A2K Sports and Entertainment and Placer Valley Tourism are partnering up again to bring this highly competitive youth football tournament back to Placer Valley.

The tournament is officially full with 38 teams competing in four different age brackets that include Jr. Pee Wee, Pee Wee, Jr. Midget and Midget that covers the age range of 7 to 14. Teams from Washington, Nevada and California will be participating, all hoping to be crowned the champions of Cali Bowl.

Tournament Director Brent Gray has been working around the clock to ensure that this year's Cali Bowl is the best yet. "We will have more awards, more competition and the most important thing of all- more fun," exclaimed Gray.

Gray has many new features in store including interviews with the coaches and players and a social media challenge. He is also continuing to promote a community service aspect as he has done in years past. This year's receipt of his philanthropy is Making a Change Sacramento, an incredible non-profit that is dedicated to helping the less fortunate in all aspects of their lives.

Every team is guaranteed a three-game minimum and the games will have play-by-play announcers as well as being streamed live which adds an element of excitement for the players and spectators. With more than 700 youth football players hitting the Roseville high school fields fired up and ready to win, this is your chance to check out some future NFL players in the flesh!
