(NAPSI) - Parents frantically searching for the ultimate kids’ video game this holiday season can now relax as “Ben 10 Ultimate Alien™: Cosmic Destruction,” the new “Ben 10” game, offers more than the traditional stocking stuffer.

“Ben 10 Ultimate Alien: Cosmic Destruction” is based on “Ben 10: Ultimate Alien,” a continuation of the successful and Emmy-winning “Ben 10” original television series, which is backed by the Cartoon Network, Inc. and has been among the top 5 boys’ action brands for years.

The game integrates several advancements, such as 17 alien life-forms, a quick-switch feature to change aliens faster than ever, and an ancient alien artifact that must be recovered on an adventure that involves saving humanity from a cosmic storm and ultimate destruction as players visit iconic worldwide locales, including Paris, Tokyo, China and Rome.

A New Chapter in the “Ben 10” Saga

While the effects and music are 100 percent authentic and true to the television series, the game comes with a brand-new story created by one of the “Ben 10” show writers, Charlotte Fullerton.

In this game, players will yield the power of the all-new Ultimatrix, an upgraded Omnitrix, that transforms Ben into the most powerful, hyperevolved alien forms ever available in the entire series of “Ben 10” games. It allows Ben to unlock more powerful “ultimate” versions of the most popular alien heroes to annihilate enemies in battle.

New Aliens and Never-Before-Seen Villains

Players can play as the hero Ben Tennyson and up to 17 of his alien forms including many new aliens from the “Ben 10: Ultimate Alien” television series. These include Armodrillo, Water Hazard, AmpFibian, Terraspin and NRG. The special skills and abilities of these characters allow players to jackhammer through enemies, unleash devastating water blasts, emit explosive radiation beams and more. There are also a few never-before-seen villains that players will meet!

Player-Friendly Features and Upgrades

An all-new quick-switch feature allows players to quickly transform from alien to alien, making it possible to create powerful custom alien combos.

And, thanks to an all-new upgrade system, players can enhance their favorite alien character’s strength, speed, defense and special attacks by gaining experience from defeating enemies, collecting rare sumo slammer cards, and crushing cars, forklifts, furniture and various objects throughout each level.

In addition to the game making its first appearance on the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, next-gen console owners will receive their own exclusive aliens—an alien called Rath for the Xbox 360™ game and entertainment system from Microsoft, and an alien called Four Arms for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system.

The game is published by D3Publisher. To learn more about going ULTIMATE, visit Ben10theVideogame.com and d3publisher.us.
