“Light Up a Life,” a special evening of remembrance, will be held Tuesday, December 1st at 7 p.m. at The Ridge Golf Club and Event Center, 2020 Golf Course Rd., Auburn. This free event is open to all members of the community, and especially welcomes families that have experienced the loss of a loved one during this past year.

The event program will include speakers from the community, music, a candle-lighting ceremony and light refreshments. At the event, families can personalize a keepsake ornament with pictures, poems, or any other mementos. Doors open at 6:15 p.m., and guests will be invited to decorate an ornament with craft items provided. All personalized ornaments will be placed on the holiday trees in recognition of passed loved ones.
