Retired? Stay active! Join Sons in Retirement (SIR) Branch 37 for a lunch social at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 7th at the Auburn Elks Lodge, 195 Pine Street.

The speaker will be Jim Holmes, Placer County District 3 Supervisor. He was elected in 2004 and is serving his third term. He represents the area from North Auburn to include most of Rocklin, and is an Auburn native with more than 29 years as a business owner. Holmes has been dedicated to community service all his adult life. He will be giving the Sons in Retirement an update on County-wide initiatives.
