ROCKLIN, CA (MPG) – Quarry Park Adventures is proud to announce a holiday partnership and fundraiser with the Love in Action Project which supports 50 local nonprofits including five local foster child agencies. Quarry Park Adventures will host their annual holiday event on Sunday, December 12, 2012, featuring Santa and discounted zipline and Kidz Kove tickets. Love in Action Project will be on site to collect gift cards, of any amount, which will go to supporting local foster child agencies, including those who have aged out of the system and are learning to live independently. Gift cards are a valuable resource not only to help support these children financially with a small boost, but also to provide them with a gift that reiterates their value to the community, making them also feel special this time of year. Quarry Park Adventures’ holiday event will take place 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, 5373 Pacific St.
Organizers recommend gift cards from major retailers where the kids can secure everything from food to clothing, home goods to toiletries such as Amazon, Target, Walmart or similar retailers. Gift cards will be accepted daily starting immediately at the Quarry Park ticketing booth during normal business hours through Dec. 19th. Hours can be found here.
“Quarry Park Adventures is dedicated to the community, so we are proud to help give back to some of the children who need our help and support the most,” explained Katey Little, Sales & Marketing Manager for Quarry Park Adventures. “We hope the community will join us in helping support foster children locally with a donation of a gift card. Any amount is greatly appreciated and will help make the children feel special.”
