Auburn, CA (MPG) – Placer County Superintendent of Schools Gayle Garbolino-Mojica has been selected by Region 2 of the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA) as an Outstanding Woman Leader. The organization honors school administrators each year for their excellence, achievements and dedication to public education.
Garbolino-Mojica is an educational leader, recognized across the region and the state for her accomplishments in leadership, advocacy, and dedication to excellence. She has worked alongside educators and administrators to provide a globally competitive, comprehensive, rigorous and relevant education to all students. She is among the longest-serving county superintendents in Placer County and across the state. As a result of that consistency and leadership, Placer County students have excelled with test scores and educational outcomes that outperform the state year after year.
This particular award pays special attention to female role models working in education. Women who are selected have a clear passion for the profession and demonstrate effective leadership through ongoing professional development, community engagement and advocacy.
