Placer County Elections Office Announces Voting Materials for Nov. 5 General Soon on Their Way

AUBURN, CA (MPG) - With the Nov. 5, General Election just over a month away, the Placer County Elections Office is already in high-gear, preparing for a voter turnout that is projected to rival that of the November 2020 Presidential General Election (Placer’s highest ever, at 88.3%).

Voters should have already received their state and county voter information guides by mail, and voting materials will be in the mail to all active, eligible Placer County voters by Oct. 7. If any voter has not received their guides and ballots by Oct. 15, it is highly recommended they contact the Elections Office by phone (1-800-824-8683), email ([email protected]) or by visiting in person.

Additionally, the Placer County Elections Office hereby gives notice that it will hold voter education workshops Oct. 8 and 9, pursuant to the requirements set forth by the Voter’s Choice Act. These language and accessibility workshops are primarily intended for voters who may need additional assistance to cast their ballots independently and privately, though all interested parties are welcome to attend.

All workshops will be held in the training room of the Elections Office at 3715 Atherton Road in Rocklin. Remote attendance options through Zoom are also available for each workshop.

Tuesday, Oct. 8

Korean Language Workshop – 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Punjabi Language Workshop – 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Wednesday, Oct. 9

English Language Workshop – 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Spanish Language Workshop – 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Tagalog Language Workshop – 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
