AUBURN, CA (MPG) - Placer County’s Business Resource Center has reopened its Rocklin office to help small business owners and entrepreneurs with walk-in or virtual appointments available four days a week.
The Business Resource Center, located in Rocklin (1000 Sunset Blvd., Suite 105), is the one-stop shop for all business needs; providing expert guidance, workshops, classes, one-on-one advising and assistance with hiring, permitting and regulatory compliance.
“We continue to hear from businesses about the value of our Business Resource Center and we recognize the importance of in-person collaboration with this reopening,” said Economic Development Director Gloria Stearns. “It can be hard to launch a new idea or scale up an existing business, so that’s why we offer resources and services free of charge for anyone in the county.”
The Placer Business Resource Center has maintained virtual hours throughout the last few years but has once again added in-person services for businesses.
The new hours include:
Open for walk-in appointments every Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Virtual and in-person appointments are available Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays
The Business Resource Center can help employers with hiring by providing access to conference rooms and dedicating interview space to recruit and interview new staff, developing incentive programs and organizing job fairs – all at no cost.
County staff also deliver a newsletter every month with hand-picked content designed to help small business owners. You can sign up by clicking here.
