ROSEVILLE, CA (MPG) – Walmart customers in Roseville were welcomed inside the newly transformed Supercenter at 1400 Lead Hill Blvd. this morning as the much-anticipated project is now complete. Creating omni-shopping experiences that save customers time and money, Walmart continues its transformational journey to become America’s favorite place to shop whether in-store, online or via the mobile app.

Walmart associates marked the occasion with a ribbon cutting ceremony, community celebration, and the unveiling of a community-inspired mural. The event was attended by local Roseville organizations, including Teams and Dreams, Salvation Army, and Taste of Korea

“Our remodel is all about creating a better shopping experience for our customers—from the moment they walk in to when they check out,” said Store Manager Pritika Mala. “With a more modern layout, updated departments, and expanded pickup and delivery services, we’re making it easier and more convenient for our community to shop the way they want.

During this morning’s celebration, the store’s leaders and associates highlighted the transformations, which include:

Expanded pickup and delivery services, including a larger Online Grocery Pickup area with increased capacity from 375 to 540, offer faster, more convenient order fulfillment.

More self-checkout lanes and upgraded registers reduce wait times and improve the checkout experience.

Modernized departments —including fresh, apparel, and home— that feature updated layouts, enhanced assortments, and a clean, inviting look.

Upgraded pharmacy, which now includes a private consultation room for immunizations and one-on-one health services.

An improved store layout with clearly marked aisles, enhanced signage, and wider pathways makes shopping easier and more intuitive.

New “home pad” area showcases seasonal and home goods with a modern, visually appealing setup.

Cleaner floors, fresh paint, and upgraded fixtures throughout the store enhance the overall shopping environment.

Digital touchpoints, including QR codes and interactive screens, help customers explore Walmart’s full online assortment from within the store.

To further illustrate Walmart’s commitment to the communities it serves, the store manager and several associates presented $6,500 in grants these local nonprofit organizations:

Salvation Army

Teams and Dreams

Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department

Althea Canines

Sacramento Food Bank

Taste of Korea

The ceremony concluded with the exciting unveiling of the store's new mural, an eye-catching installation that reflects the diversity and local cultures, attractions, and best that Roseville has to offer.

This mural is part of Walmart's Community Mural Program, one of the largest public-facing art installations celebrating communities across America. Walmart's Community Mural Program is an important part of each store transformation and furthers Walmart's commitment to the local community.
