ROCKLIN, CA (MPG) — Pacific Gas & Electric Company started work on June 2 to inspect gas pipelines at three locations in Placer County. Pacific Gas & Electric Company is digging to expose small sections of the gas pipeline to verify the condition as part of a standard inspection process of a natural gas transmission line that runs in an east-west direction in Placer County.

Pacific Gas & Electric Company and contract crews will excavate at these locations:

Rocklin Road and Sierra College Boulevard in Rocklin.

Rockling Road across from the entrance to St. Francis Woods Drive in Loomis.

On Taylor Road just northeast of Callison Road in Newcastle.

The work in Rocklin will take place at night so as to reduce traffic impacts, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday nights to Friday mornings.

Work in Loomis and Newcastle will take place Mondays to Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Work should conclude in early July.
