2025 Placer County School Employees of the Year Announced

ROCKLIN, CA (MPG) - Placer County Superintendent of Schools Gayle Garbolino-Mojica is pleased to announce the following 2025 Placer County Classified School Employees of the Year:
Denise Barron - Clerical & Administrative Services, Rocklin Academy Family of Schools
Santiago “Chucky” Hernandez - Custodial & Maintenance Services, Western Placer Unified School District
Nadine Coldwell - Food & Nutrition Services, Rocklin Unified School District
Patti Waskowiak - Health & Student Services, Placer Hills Union School District
Debbie Dawson - Paraeducator Services, Foresthill Union School District
Sarah Valdez - Security Services, Placer Union High School District
James “Jimmy” Jordan - Skilled Trade Services, Placer Union High School District
Keith Wheeler - Technical Services, Roseville Joint Union High School District
Heather Baldwin - Transportation Services, Dry Creek Joint Elementary School District
“Behind every successful student is a dedicated team of classified staff who keep our schools running smoothly and support every learner’s journey,” said Placer County Superintendent of Schools Garbolino-Mojica. “I’m proud to honor these outstanding individuals whose hard work and commitment help make Placer County a leader in education.”
This year, 58 classified school employees from across the county were nominated from their respective districts and charter school systems in nine categories. Nominees were judged on work performance, school community involvement, leadership and commitment.
