Run Tahoe Hosts a Three Day Lake Tahoe Marathon Event

NORTH LAKE TAHOE, CA (MPG) -
Oct. 17-19, 2025, Run Tahoe is hosting its annual marathon and race event for all ages.

The Tahoe Trifecta: 

Friday - Nevada Half Marathon. This run is a downhill marathon that starts at the Spooner Summit Snow Play area to Incline Village. There is a $30 fee for the shuttle bus that transports runners to and from the start and the end of the race. 

Saturday - The Carnelian Bay Half Marathon. This run is starts from Incline Village and ends at Commons Beach in Tahoe City. There is a $30 fee for the Round trip bus to the start and return from finish the Meadow Road finish area back to the Beach Retreat Hotel

Sunday - 
Emerald Bay Half Marathon. This marathon is entirely downhill. It begins 3/10th of a mile south of the Inspiration Point parking lot at the top of Emerald Bay, and finishes at Lakeside Beach. Strollers are permitted for this run as it avoids main roads.

Super Hero 5k:

Sunday - 
The Super Hero 5k is a looped-course run that begins at Lakeside Beach and ends at Lakeside Beach. Participants are encouraged to wear a costume, and those who do receive a one minute head start. 

The Tahoe Triple:

Friday - 
The Lakeside Marathon. This race includes both incline and decline running, beginning in California at Lakeside Beach and finishing in Nevada at Incline Village. It is strongly recommended that participants bring a headlamp and/or flashlight and have a support crew at the ready for transportation needs.

Saturday - 
The Cal-Neva Marathon. With a new start line, the Cal-Neva Marathon begins at Spooner Summit Snow Play Area and ends at Commons Beach in Tahoe City. This is a downhill race with a 1400 net elevation drop.

Sunday - 
The Lake Tahoe Marathon. Beginning south of Homewood, CA the race goes around the south of Lake Tahoe and finishes at Lakeside Beach. Rules of the Road are required for this race, even though the roads will be closed.

4-Person Relay:

Sunday - 
The 4-Person Relay race begins on Meadow Road, just south of Homewood Ski Area. The race finishes at Lakeside Beach. Teams of four are required for this race, and there are three points of relay exchange along the path.
