ROCKLIN, CA (MPG) - Brought to Placer County by the Affiliate Committee, the Summer Food Drive has arrived in Placer County.

Citizens are encouraged to make donations throughout the summer months. The Auburn Interfaith Food Closet, The Salt Mine and the Loomis Food Pantry all have specific needs.

Auburn Interfaith Food Closet is asking for donations of:
  • Boxed cereal
  • Pasta
  • Assorted canned vegetables
  • Meal in a can
  • Mac and cheese
  • Pasta sauce
  • Assorted canned Fruit
  • Canned tuna/chicken
  • Pet food
The Salt Mine is asking for donations of:
  • Green beans, corn, fruit, soup, peanut butter and tuna
  • Pasta sauce
  • Diced tomatoes
  • Boxed cereal
  • Gluten-free foods
  • Ramen
  • Rice
  • Spaghetti noodles
  • Mac and cheese
  • Rice
  • Coffee and tea
  • Kids snacks and juice boxes
The Loomis Food Pantry is asking for donations of:
  • 1-2 pounds of flour or sugar
  • 16-24 ounces of oil
  • 16-24 ounces of syrup
  • Pancake mix
  • Dry creal
  • Jams and jellies
  • Ramen
Donators are asked to refrain from donating homemade, open or damaged packaging, or expired foods.

Drop-off location for non-perishable food is located at Placer County Association of Realtors (PCRA), 270 Technology Way, Suite 100, Rocklin.
