AUBURN, CA (MPG) - Antsy McClain brings his fun-loving Trailer Park Troubadours to Auburn’s Odd Fellows Lodge #7 for their acclaimed Umpteenth Halloween Bash. Come in costume and be ready to party!

They'll take you on a ride through Pine View Heights, the friendliest trailer park in America, with their original songs and audience participation for an evening you'll be talking about for a long time. Sponsored by the ever-fabulous Sugar Plump Faires, this is a 21 and over event.

From rocking blues guitars to classic country twang to folk-rock, a rootsy, muscular blend of rock and roll has become his trademark. McClain calls the music “folkabilly,” and his shows are a unique mix of masterful musicianship and self-deprecating humor. His songs blend the savvy of Garrison Keillor’s Lake Wobegon with the unique experiences and lessons of growing up in blue-collar American culture.

The backdrop for these characters and stories is the semi-fictional mobile home community called Pine View Heights. It was designed after his own upbringing, raised by a truck-driving father and an Avon-selling, stay-at-home Mom. “You can’t make this stuff up,” Antsy recalls, “It’s like the Blues. You gotta live it.”

This year's special edition of the Umpteenth Halloween Bash is happening on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m at Odd Fellows Lodge #7, 1226 1/2 Lincoln Way, Auburn CA. The show runs for 2.5 hours with an intermission.
