LOOMIS, CA (MPG) - Local artist Kellyn Planteen invites the public to visit her studio during the Placer Artists Tour, happening over two weekends: Nov. 7to 9 and 14–16, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Visitors can find her studio at 3827 Hickey Lane in Loomis, California.

Planteen, known for her textured oil paintings and expressive works depicting rural life, will showcase a new collection inspired by the landscapes and landmarks of Placer County. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the artist, explore her creative process and view original works available for purchase.

“The Placer Artists Tour is such a special time to connect with people who love art,” said Planteen. “I look forward to opening my doors, sharing new work, and being part of this community-wide celebration of creativity.”

The Placer Artists Tour is a free, self-guided event featuring artists across Placer County. Visitors are encouraged to make a day of it by exploring nearby studios, shops and scenic stops throughout the region.
