Open Position on the Tahoe Basin Design Review Committee

TAHOE CITY, CA (MPG) - Placer’s design review committee for the Lake Tahoe Basin is seeking applicants for an open at-large position on the seven-member panel.
Vacancies will be nominated for appointment by District 5 Supervisor Cindy Gustafson and approved by the Board of Supervisors.
Design review committees are comprised of volunteers who serve as a voice for their communities by ensuring proposed projects follow county ordinance regulations and adopted design standards and policies. The design review committee meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month and proposes recommendations to the Planning Services Division and project applicants.
To apply for the vacant position, residents should submit a completed application to the Clerk of the Board, located at 175 Fulweiler Avenue in Auburn, 95603. To be considered for a seat on this committee, applicants must reside, own real property or a business, or manage and operate a business within the Lake Tahoe Basin.
