Placer and Sacramento County Leaders, Prosecutors and Businesses Mark One Year of Prop 36 with Public Forum

PLACER/SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA (MPG) - Placer County District Attorney Morgan Gire, Sacramento County District Attorney Thien Ho, local law enforcement leaders, business owners and representatives from Californians Against Retail and Residential Theft (CARRT) will hold a public forum to discuss retail theft, recent crime trends and the implementation of Proposition 36 one year after its passage.

The event will outline how counties are implementing the law, and what businesses and community members can expect moving forward. 

The forum takes place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10 at the Jan Scully Conference Room. Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office, 906 G Street.
