AUBURN, CA (MPG) – Auburn Ravine Revival, voted Auburn’s “Best of the Best Band” for 2024 and 2025, will play a concert and host a CD release party as a fundraiser for Auburn State Theatre on Friday, March 20 at 7 p.m. at Oddfellows Lodge #7. Doors open at 6 p.m.

This beloved grassroots band offers a captivating mix of Classic Rock, Blues, and their own unique twist on Americana.  Featured at this special concert are hot-off-the-press tracks from their new CD, “The Dusty Road Sessions,” a heartfelt compilation of songs penned by Rod Tompkins and enhanced by the musical and vocal contributions of the entire band.

Grounded in rock, blues, country, and Americana, Tompkin’s songwriting is driven from a lifetime of lived experience. With a road-worn sound and an honest, unpolished edge, his music reflects the grit, heart and resilience found in the spaces between the miles driven by real-life stories and the emotional pull of life’s ups and downs.

In addition to Tompkins, ARR is Preston Marx, Keyboards, Guitar and Horns; John How, Lead Guitar; Jennifer Taggard, Vocals; Paul Magrath, Bass; Ed Warnecke, Drums; and Dave Kingsford on Sax.

Run time is 2 hours and 11 minutes. General Admission Seated tickets are $45 ($39 plus a $6 fee), while General Admission Standing Downstairs tickets are $30 ($24 plus a $6 fee). For an elevated experience, VIP Seated Balcony tickets are $65 and include general admission; availability is limited to a maximum of 24 tickets, with $20 per ticket payable to Nero E Oro. VIP Standing Balcony tickets are $55 and also include general admission; these are limited to a maximum of 20 tickets, with $10 per ticket payable to Nero E Oro.
