ROCKLIN, CA (MPG) - Deputy District Attorney Dave Bass, candidate for Placer County Superior Court Judge, recently announced that he has received the endorsement of the Placer County Probation Peace Officers Association.

The endorsement adds to Bass’ growing support from law enforcement, public safety professionals, and crime victims’ advocates across Placer County and California.

“The Placer County Probation Peace Officers Association (PPOA) is happy to accompany our Placer County law enforcement partners and endorse Dave Bass for Superior Court Judge,” said the Placer County Probation Peace Officers Association.

Bass said he is honored to receive the endorsement and grateful for the work probation peace officers do to protect the community, support accountability, and help strengthen the justice system.

“I am honored to have the support of the Placer County Probation Peace Officers Association,” said Dave Bass. “Probation peace officers play an essential role in our justice system by holding offenders accountable, supporting rehabilitation when appropriate, and helping keep our communities safe. Their endorsement is especially meaningful because they understand firsthand the importance of having judges who are fair, experienced, and committed to public safety.”

Bass has earned the support of a broad coalition of law enforcement and public safety organizations, including: Peace Officers Research Association of California (PORAC); Placer County Deputy Sheriff’s Association; Placer County Law Enforcement Management Association; Placer County Probation Peace Officers Association; Rocklin Police Officers Association; Roseville Police Officers Association; Crime Victims United; Placer County Sheriff Wayne Woo; Placer County District Attorney Morgan Gire; and UPE - representing the Clerks and Court Reporters in Placer County.

Bass’ campaign said the latest endorsement reflects continued momentum among those who work within the justice system and understand the qualities needed on the bench.
