GRANITE BAY, CA (MPG) - What started as one Bay Area studio in 2012 has grown into a boutique fitness phenomenon, and now RockSalt Pilates is celebrating its arrival in Granite Bay with a free grand opening event on Thursday, Nov. 12. The music-driven reformer Pilates brand is opening its newest studio at 4120 Douglas Blvd., Suite 307, inviting the community to try it firsthand. With bright, open studios and music that moves the whole room, it feels welcoming from the first beat. Whether it’s a first reformer class or a hundredth, every body belongs here.

Created as a bold alternative to traditional Pilates, RockSalt has built a devoted Bay Area following and, since it began franchising in 2025, has been expanding across the U.S. and beyond. Every class blends precision, strength and cardio into a dynamic, expertly choreographed, music-driven workout for every fitness level and goal. Stretch focuses on flexibility, mobility and recovery. Strength builds full-body strength, stability and control through reformer and mat-based exercises. Sweat turns up the cardio and strength training in a high-energy workout. Whatever the format, every class is designed to challenge, motivate and inspire.

Cousins Paulette, Yiota, Evi and Dimitra are bringing RockSalt Pilates to Granite Bay, and they’re doing it together as a family. The four share an entrepreneurial spirit and experience owning and operating businesses, and they’re putting it into a fresh, high-energy approach to fitness for their community. Their vision goes beyond a workout. They want a welcoming place where people build strength, gain confidence, connect with each other and have fun doing it.

“We wanted to bring something exciting and different to Granite Bay, a place where fitness feels less like a chore and more like something you look forward to,” said Evi Tsigaris, co-owner of RockSalt Pilates Granite Bay. “RockSalt brings together movement, music, strength and community in a way that makes working out fun and empowering. As a family, building businesses together is something we’re passionate about, and we’re excited to create a space where people can challenge themselves, support one another and feel stronger both inside and out.
