If conditions and weather are favorable, the Tahoe Fire & Fuels Team will continue prescribed burning this week at Lake Tahoe. The USDA Forest Service Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit will burn piles off North Upper Truckee Road near Osgood Swamp to reduce excess vegetation (fuels) that can feed unwanted wildfires. Smoke will be present.
